What makes our reroofing approach stronger
Survey before strip off
We inspect first, so you know if repair is enough or a full replacement is worth it.
Built for weather control
Proper layers, drainage and edge details help the finished roof shed water with confidence.
Joined up aftercare
We also check gutters, fascias and soffits so the new roof can drain away cleanly.
When a new roof is the smarter long term fix
A roof does not usually fail all at once. It starts with repeat leaks, tired underlay, wind damage that keeps coming back, or a flat roof that has simply had enough. From our Gorebridge base, we install and replace roofs for homes and commercial buildings after a proper survey, not a guess from ground level. At Ridgeline Roofing Expert Ltd, we look at the covering, the waterproof layers beneath it and any hidden structural issues before advising on repair or full replacement.
That means you can weigh up slate, tile and flat roof systems such as felt, rubber roofing and liquid rubber waterproofing with a clear view of what your roof needs and what will give you the best long term weather protection.

A reroof planned properly from start to finish
Good reroofing is about more than putting new material on top. With Ridgeline Roofing Expert Ltd, we can inspect with drone and thermal methods where useful, strip back failed coverings where required, repair damaged timbers, renew the waterproof layers and finish the roof with the right ridge, verge and lead details.
We also look at falls and drainage on flat roofs, deal with dormer work where needed, and can use rope access in some difficult locations. If you need a caravan roof replaced, we can remove the old cladding, add insulation and boards, then install a felt system. We do not push roof painting because a durable repair or replacement is the stronger answer.
Frequently asked questions
How do we know if repair or replacement is best?
We start with an inspection and look at how widespread the problem is. If the leaks are isolated and the roof structure is sound, a repair may do the job. If the covering, underlay or timbers are failing across a large area, replacement is usually the more durable and cost effective choice.
What roof types can you install or replace?
We work with slate and tile pitched roofs as well as flat roof systems such as felt, rubber roofing, GRP, single ply and liquid rubber waterproofing. The right choice depends on the roof shape, condition, drainage needs and how you want the roof to perform over time.
Can you handle awkward roofs or caravan roof replacements?
Yes. Some hard to reach roofs can be approached with anchored rope access where it suits the site and keeps the work safe. We also carry out caravan roof replacements by removing the old cladding, adding insulation and boards, then fitting a new felt system.
